About Us
Antonia (Horatia) Richards – vocals and acoustic guitar – holds a First-Class Honours degree from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. She won the Tilford Bach Award at Godalming Festival and has appeared with Opera North, Kentish Opera, Maritime Opera and the Philharmonia Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall. She has also performed several leading musical theatre roles with the National Youth Theatre and Imagine That Productions, worked with the 1975 on their music video for ‘Part of the Band’, and sang the role of Titania in the world premiere of Clive Osgood’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. She’s been singing professionally at weddings since the age of seven.
Caleb (Reed) Curtis – cello – earned his First-Class Honours degree from the Royal Academy of Music, where he received the Moir Carnegie Cello Prize, the Norma Simpson Lower Strings Prize, and the Sir John Barbirolli Memorial Award, and was runner-up at the May Mukle/Douglas Cameron Prize. He has performed as a member of the Academy’s Sainsbury Soloists ensemble and is currently a substitute with Miami’s New World Symphony. He has also appeared at Kneisel Hall, at the Winchester and British Isles festivals, as a soloist with the Southern Pro Musica, and as a quarterfinalist at the 18th Khachaturian International Competition in Yerevan. An experienced session musician, Caleb collaborated with Jamie Bower on his EP ‘Live from the Alter’ and recently performed with Yungblud on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge.
Horatia-Reed was born from a shared vision of providing a new kind of high-quality musical entertainment for life’s most beautiful celebrations. The two of us met at Bedales School in 2014 and have been travelling and making music together ever since!
